The Minneapolis duo of Dan Murphy (Soul Asylum, Golden Smog) and Jeff Arundel, this single from their 2025 album, El Camino Adios, gives us a glimpse of their Americana ways.
Murphy and Arundel’s harmonic singing guides the reflective mood, where Ben Peterson’s thumping drums and Pat Nelson’s agile voice suit Pat Frederick’s gentle piano contributions across the breezy and melodic modern rock template.
An excellent track off a really great record, the mid-tempo pace and sing-alongs illuminate the spirit of one of the best bands in Minnesota today.
