Live From London
Self-Released, 2026
8/10
The Austin resident Rita Bliss fleshed out these songs at Green Note in London on February 21, 2026, where 3 songs of her stripped back formula radiate much sincerity.
“July” starts the quick listen with warm harmonica and meticulous banjo playing, where Bliss’ eloquent storytelling draws us in immediately, and “Texarkana” follows with a romantic spirit that’s heartfelt and sung with plenty of emotion.
“Two Dollar Bill” exits with cozy banjo, well timed harmonica and Bliss’ inviting singing that has us hanging on every word.
A very authentic blend of folk, Americana and bluegrass, Bliss’ songs surround queer love, heartbreak and the human connection we all share and should celebrate more often.
Travels well with: Rita Bliss- Peaches And Apple Pie; Trish Imbrogno- Bluegrass Love Songs
